PMP Intelli-Jet V® hydraulic headbox to be delivered to India

In May 2013, PMP Group signed a contract with Shreyans Industries for delivery of the Intelli-Jet V® hydraulic headbox . The delivery would be a part of the paper machine’s upgrade.

Shreyans Industries is an Indian paper mill located in the Ahmedgarh, in Sangrur district. The paper mill manufactures writing & printing paper. Its actual manufacturing capabilities reach 35 000 MT/year. The paper mill’s aim is to increase PM speed up to 750 mpm and its annual production up to the 50 000 MT. Due to the fact that installation of the new headbox will improve paper quality and enable operation with higher speed, Shreyans Industries decided to choose PMP Group as a supplier.

PMP Intelli-Jet V® hydraulic headbox is a technologically advanced equipment characterized by operational friendly construction and owing to applied stainless long-term durability. The headbox will be about 3100 mm wide and equipped with consistency profiling system, which assures control over the basis weight, resulting uniform paper web structure and better CD basis weight profile. The Intelli-Jet V® hydraulic headbox will be equipped with 4 rows of headbox tubes.

Delivery of PMP Intelli-Jet V® hydraulic headbox is scheduled on the first half of 2014. Apart from delivery PMP will supervise the assembly process and the start-up of the hydraulic unit.
