PMP Group – global provider of paper machinery – is continuing an active support of the Chinese paper industry development by implementing modern technology. After successful deliveries of 29 hydraulic headboxes and 10 tissue machines within the last 8 years to China, PMP Group is launching a campaign of a proven solution - Intelli-Nip® Shoe Press from Intelli-Technology® platform, dedicated especially for fluting/testliner grades producers.
Intelli-Nip® Shoe Press has been already appreciated by European paper mills, due to its reliable performance confirmed by patented solutions, top sheet dryness level and user-friendliness. In March this year, PMP Group presented details of a next generation Shoe Press during the International Conference PMP Open House 2013 (Phoenix Concept – Blend of Technology and Optimum Cost) that took place in Jelenia Gora, Poland. During the event, there was an opportunity to learn more about the Intelli-Nip® Shoe Press (designed & made in Europe), by witnessing detailed presentations and shake down tests.
Just a few weeks after the conference, PMP is proud to announce the partnership continuation with Jiangsu Changfeng Paper Co., Ltd - producer of high strength corrugated base paper and testliner (3-ply, 90 – 220 gsm). Jiangsu Changfeng Paper Co., Ltd is specialized in paper making industry invested by Jiangsu Changfeng Group with the number of employees of over 650, the main product of the company is fluting paper with different specification which can reach the requirement of different customers. As highly starting point of the company, they own the high efficiency equipment and technology, their product exported to southeast Asia, Middle East and African countries.
After installation of (3) three PMP Intelli-Jet V® hydraulic headboxes and PMP Intelli-Sizer® Size Press with metering heads on PM#3 (reel trim 4860 mm), PMP is going to supply another key technological unit - Intelli-Nip® Shoe Press. This time project goals are focused on increasing the PMs capacity, by increasing the operating speed from 800 to 900 mpm (more than 10% capacity increase). Another target is to significantly improve quality parameters of the final product (especially its strength) and machine runnability.
The delivery is scheduled for the beginning of 2014, followed by erection at site and start-up during the Chinese New Year.
