PMP to provide Intelli-Jet V™ headbox and press part rebuild for Lamix, Poland

We would like to announce that on 13th May, 2009, PMPoland S.A. – member of PMP Group signed a contract with Lamix for a new Intelli-Jet V™ hydraulic headbox and press part rebuild. The scope of supply covers a new hydraulic headbox, stock approach, modification of press part and new suction roll.

Lamix is a producer of paper as well as finished paper products: Z-Z towels, jumbo toilet paper, towels in roll, hygienic tissues, industrial rolls and medical paper. Many of the products offered by Lamix has achieved the leading position within the market. The delivery of such a rich assortment of products as well as the fulfillment of their customers' needs set the future direction of the company's development. By producing the highest quality products Lamix is perceived as a reliable partner whose support helps its cooperating customers become successful.

PMPoland S.A. will supply a single-layer Intelli Jet V™ headbox to be installed on the existing fourdrinier machine, PM#1, with a pondside width of 2,600 mm and a design speed of 600 mpm. The main goal of the project is quality improvements with both basis weight profile and formation. The new headbox will also be designed to allow for future machine capacity increases. The equipment supply and start-up are scheduled to be completed in November of 2009. PMP’s technical solutions and high quality manufacturing techniques resulted in Lamix choosing PMP to meet their project requirements.
