| Marcal Manufacturing Starts Up PMP Intelli-Jet V™ Headbox |

PMP is pleased to announce a successful and smooth completion of the replacement and start-up of a twin wire headbox for Marcal Manufacturing, LLC at the end of December 2008. The PMP Group supplied a single layer Intelli Jet V™ Headbox and installed it on the existing twin wire machine, PM#10. The new headbox has a pondside width of 5,520 mm and a design speed of 1,900 mpm. The main goal of the project was quality improvements with both basis weight and formation. The customer was extremely happy with the performance of the headbox and looks forward to future partnerships with PMP. This project for Marcal is another step in PMP’s strategy within America. PMP supplies complete tissue machines and rebuilds and specializes in hydraulic headboxes. |
